# Image to 3D

This node is for turning a 2D image into a basic 3D model—perfect for visualizing form, depth, and structure from a either single reference image or multiview images.

Turn any image into a 3D model directly on the canvas — no external tools required to get started.

**Step 1: Open the Node List** Click anywhere on the canvas to access the drop down menu and add the 3D node, connecting your image node to the input port.

**Step 2: Add a Prompt (Optional)** You can type in a prompt to guide the 3D generation with more detail, or leave it blank and let the image speak for itself.

**Step 3: Adjust Your Settings** Tweak the seed to vary results across your images using models like Tripo 3D and Hunyuan.

**Step 4: Generate** Click Generate to create your 3D model. Once it's ready, navigate it directly on the canvas — scroll to zoom in and out, and drag to pan around the model.

**Step 5: Download and Export** Download your 3D model in and import it directly into software like Rhino and more.
