# Inside the Editor

Using masking brushes to select areas for editing

**Text and Prompt-Based Editing** Add text directly onto your composition. Text can also act as a generative prompt — describe a small change you want to make, and when the output moves to the next node, the model applies that change while keeping the overall composition and image intact.

**Background Removal** Strip the background from any input image cleanly. This is especially useful for spatial and interior work — bring in a room, drop in individual furniture pieces, and arrange them in any configuration you need before generating.

**Masking** Use the masking brush to define areas for the next node to regenerate. You have three brush types to choose from, and you can customize both the size and color of the brush to build precise masks.

**Shapes** Use the shapes tool to draw and place geometric forms directly onto your image — useful for blocking out areas or adding compositional structure before generating.

**Layers** Manage all your inputs and elements through the layers panel on the left. Reorder, hide, or reorganize layers to get your composition exactly where you want it before passing it downstream.
