# 3D to Image

Once you have a 3D model on your canvas, you can use it as a direct visual reference for image generation — capturing it from any angle and feeding those screenshots straight into an image node.

**Step 1: Capturing Your 3D Model** Inside the 3D editor, navigate around your model and take screenshots from whichever angles you need — front, side, perspective, close-up. Each screenshot becomes an image output you can work with directly.

**Step 2: Feeding into Image Generation** Connect the output port of the 3D node to an image generation node. The screenshots flow through as reference inputs, letting the model use your 3D geometry and composition as the basis for a fully generated image.

**Why This Is Useful** This workflow gives you precise spatial and compositional control that's hard to achieve with prompts alone. Block out a scene in 3D, get the angle exactly right, then use image generation to apply materials, lighting, style, and detail on top.
