# Editor

How to open and use the Editor tool

The Editor tool works as a multi-layer compositor for both images and videos — combine, mask, and refine your assets without ever leaving the canvas.

**Step 1: Open Editor** Click the Tools button and select Editor from the list.

**Step 2: Connect Your Assets** Connect the images or videos you want to work with. The tool accepts multiple inputs and treats them as individual layers.

**Step 3: Composite Your Layers**

For images:

* Mask specific areas to isolate or protect regions
* Arrange and reorder layers to control what sits on top
* Remove the background from any input image cleanly

For videos:

* Stitch multiple video clips together into a single unified output

**Step 4: Save or Keep Going** Download your finished composite, or connect the output to another node and keep building your workflow.
