# Creating a Board & Sharing
Create, organize, and share boards in xFigura.
A board is a dedicated canvas for a project, brief, client, or concept. You can create multiple boards and move between them from your workspace.
## Create a board
From the workspace home, select the **+** button, create a board, and give it a clear name. You can then add nodes, files, and other content to the canvas.
## Keep boards organized
Use names that make the board's purpose clear to collaborators. Boards can be organized by client, project, phase, or another naming convention used by your team.
Use **auto-organize** to tidy node placement when a workflow becomes difficult to scan.
## Share a board
Open the board's sharing controls and add the people who need access. Collaborators can view, comment, or edit according to the access level assigned to them.
## Add files to the canvas
Drag and drop supported files directly onto the canvas to add references and assets to the board. Anyone with access to the board can work from the shared board content according to their permissions.
