# Ideogram V4.5 Edit

Make targeted image edits with Ideogram V4.5 Edit in Image to Image and Inpaint workflows.

**Ideogram V4.5 Edit** edits part of an existing image from a painted selection and a text prompt. Use it for a focused change, such as replacing an object or changing a material, while keeping the surrounding composition.

## Precise Edit and quality

**Precise Edit** preserves the area outside your selection. Use a careful selection and a focused prompt so the intended change is clear.

The **quality** control lets you balance the level of detail and credit use. Available settings and the run estimate in xFigura are the source of truth for your workflow.

## xFigura tip

Name the change directly. For example: “Replace the selected chair with a dark green velvet armchair, matching the room's lighting.” Paint only the area that needs changing, and inspect the result before continuing with another edit.

## Credits and timing

Review the estimate in xFigura before running a job. Credit use depends on the selected quality and current model configuration; provider API prices do not define xFigura credit costs.
