# Seedream 4.5

Multi-reference image editing for compositing, material changes, and context-aware transformations.

Seedream 4.5 is ByteDance's image generation and editing architecture. xFigura currently exposes it as an image-editing model for reference-led transformations and compositing.

* Combining elements from multiple reference images
* Material, object, background, and styling changes
* Product visualization and creative compositing
* Edits that must preserve depth, lighting, and visual coherence

## Strengths

* Natural-language editing without a manual layer workflow

* Strong material, texture, and detail preservation
* Context-aware blending of perspective and lighting

## Limitations

* The current xFigura route is focused on editing rather than text-to-image generation
* Multi-source edits still require review for unintended changes outside the target area
* Review the result before continuing a multi-step edit

## xFigura tip

Number or clearly identify each reference image in the prompt. State what to take from each source, what must remain unchanged in the base image, and where the new element should appear. This reduces ambiguity in multi-image edits.

## Credits and timing

Generation time and credit use depend on the selected output settings and current model configuration. Review the estimate shown in xFigura before running the job.
